REGISTRATION & Program policies

These policies provide essential guidelines for participating in Actuality Abroad programs, covering registration, fees, and participation requirements. They also include our Code of Conduct, designed to foster a respectful, ethical, and positive experience for everyone involved.
Program Registration
You may register for any program online at www.actualityabroad.org or call us at +1 (321) 353-9836
Program Fees
A $250 USD deposit per person is required at the time of registration. Deposits are nonrefundable. Final payment is due 90 days before the program start date.
Refunds are available under the following conditions:
- 91+ days before the program start date: All payments except the deposit are refundable.
- 30–89 days before the program start date: 50% of the program fee will be refunded.
- Less than 30 days before the program start date: No refunds will be given. However, 50% of the program fee may be applied to future programs.
If Actuality Abroad Cancels a Program.
Actuality Abroad reserves the right to cancel programs due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel a program, you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to transfer into another program.
In the rare event that a program is canceled while in progress, we will make necessary arrangements to prioritize the safety and well-being of participants.
Program Details
While we aim to finalize itineraries and logistics well in advance, changes may occasionally be required. The most up-to-date program information will be available on our website, and final details will be shared at least eight weeks before the program starts.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Responsibility.
Actuality Abroad organizes programs in collaboration with independent suppliers. These suppliers are not Actuality Abroad employees or agents, and Actuality Abroad is not liable for their actions. Participants agree to release Actuality Abroad from responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, travel delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Safety & Risks.
Certain risks are inherent in travel. While Actuality Abroad takes precautions to prepare for unexpected events, participants acknowledge that safety cannot be guaranteed. By registering, participants assume responsibility for their own safety.
Admission, Participation & Code Of Conduct
Admission to Actuality Abroad programs is at our sole discretion and may be revoked or limited if a participant’s behavior compromises the safety, well-being, or enjoyment of others. Participation requires adherence to our policies and Code of Conduct, which outlines behavioral expectations for fostering respect, collaboration, and personal growth.
Our Code of Conduct sets the foundation for a meaningful and ethical experience, ensuring that all participants contribute to a respectful, productive environment. It includes commitments to host communities, collaborators, fellow crew members, and personal growth, as well as clear accountability measures.

Photography.
Actuality Abroad may make photographs or videos during programs for promotional purposes. Participants agree to allow their images to be used unless they explicitly notify program staff at the start of the program.
